adiqshun.net is revamped and open for business

When I first purchased adiqshun.net I planned on using it as a Myspace Layout and Graphic Resource site. After only having it open for about 2 months I realized that the reason why I purchased it was not going to work. I had only made about $3.00 a month. I was hoping to atleast make an extra $20 - $50 a month just making and creating graphics but I was actually spending more money then making it. So after getting laid off and starting Adiqshun Designs I realized, why try and keep this page up and going and only making $3.00 a month when I could revamp it and use it to advertise my stuff. So that's what I did. The actual site won't make a penny..but hopefully the traffic that goes there will visit my shop and buy something...and that will make atleast a penny. haha
I am really happy with the end results. I love it. Right now when you click on any of the product links it takes you to my Etsy Shop but I'm hoping that one day I'll be able to have an actual store right on my page instead of having to go thru etsy only. So please everyone go check it out and let me know what you think. If its not showing right in your browser or your find dead links or I misspelled something...Please let me know. And if its perfect..and you love it..Let me know about that too! Click Here to visit adiqshun.net.

I want to live the dream. . .

My etsy shop is coming right along.  I haven't sold anything yet but I'm still very confident that soon my first sale will happen.  I've got alot of projects going on right now including getting to know my Cricut.  She has alot of possiblities and I am just at the tip of the iceberg.  I am learning a lot of new things and am loving her more and more each day.  Until I get to know her really well I didn't want to waste my vinyl by making mistakes.  So I have just been cutting on paper.  I made some Valentine's Day cards that I just put in my shop.  They turned out really cute.  Clean and simple.
I also made some business cards to send out with my orders and to carry around with me.  I printed them on my printer, not my Cricut.  They turned out okay.  It wasn't exactly what I wanted but it works.  It's the best I can do with my 4 year old HP Printer and Microsoft Word.  One day I will have a better program and a better printer to create with.
My cousin's 22nd Birthday was Saturday and i made him a Tennessee Titans Birthday Cake.  I think it turned out really cool.  I just printed off their logo from their webpage and then cut it out.  Then i laid it on top of the cake and traced it with a toothpick.  Then I just used icing and started coloring in the design.  I just held the picture up and looked off it to know where each color went.  I love it.  Everyone else in the family, including my cousin did too.
Life is good.  JC got an umpiring contract for this weekend in Lafayette.  He'll be gone friday nite, all day saturday, and then back sunday afternoon.  He's hoping to make somewhere around $300.  That will help us out so much with him being off of work for 3 weeks with basically no pay.  So this weekend he'll be out of town making money and I hope to stay home and make lots of stuff to put in my store.

Christmas is over. . .

Hey Ya'll. I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. I did! :o) Wednesday night was Christmas Eve and we do what we do every year, go to my grandma's house. We ate (alot) and played some card games and opened gifts. From my grandma I got my Cricut, some boxers from American Eagle that I had picked out from the AERIE section, some clogs from American Eagle, a rotary cutter with a mat, and money. From my Aunt I got a Dallas Cowboys purse, some cricut accessories, awesome North Face clogs/slippers, and my coach purse. Do you guys remember my Coach purse I bought back in April and then realized that I needed the $300 more than I needed the actual purse, so i put it up for sale online. Well my aunt told me that one of my cousin's friends wanted to buy it. So she took it and then the next day brought me $225, which is what I said I would sell it for. Well that was in August so for the last 5 months thats what I thought happened to it. I start opening my christmas gifts and my aunt says "open this one first..." So I open it and its my coach purse. I'm like....what the hell? I was confused?? Did they go buy it from the store? Wait..is this MY purse? haha So she told me the story how her and my grandma just couldn't stand the thought of me selling it when they knew I obviously wanted it because I had bought it to begin with. haha So they made up the story that someone wanted to buy it but really they bought it. :o) I have the best aunt and grandma in the world. haha
Anyways...she got me alot of little accessories and stuff. Then she also always brings me a stocking over on Christmas Day and inside it was lots of fabric, thread, pins, candy, and a really cute Vera Bradley coin purse. I don't like Vera Bradley..especially for being 25...I think it looks like stuff only people like 40 and over would carry...LOL So I always made fun of my aunt when she would talk about it I would call her an old lady..until the other day I found a cute pattern that had an OWL on it. I wouldn't carry the actual purse..but I did like the little coin purse. So she bought it for me. It's super cute. We left my grandma's around 10:00 and got home and JC and I decided to open our gifts from eachother because we'd be kinda busy visiting family on Thursday. I got him a pair of camo shorts, some work jeans, movies, some awesome Dallas Cowboys playing cards, and a chainsaw. He was so excited. He's been wanting a chainsaw forever so that he could cut down trees and chop wood. I was really having a hard time buying it for him 1. because they're expensive and 2. because he is the most accident prone person I know. I'll I kept thinking was if he hurts hiself or kills hiself with the chainsaw I bought him, I'd never forgive myself. But I decided to buy it for him. He promises me he'll be extra careful. :o) He got me The Sex and the City DVD, some Cricut accessories, a clock that I wanted for our living room, candles, and the Arizona Wildcats sweatpants from the Victoria's Secret PINK University Set.

Thursday was Christmas we went and ate lunch at his aunts house with his family and then in the afternoon we went down to my moms house and ate and opened gifts. From my mom I got a crock/candle holder thing for my kitchen that matches all my BELIEVE stuff, a $100 giftcard to Wal-Mart, and two cartridges for my Cricut. Justin got some Carhart longjohns, house slippers, and a $100 gift card to Save-A-Lot. I'm super excited about the $100 gift card to Save-A-Lot. haha That's ALOT of groceries.
My dad is in Florida and I miss him alot this year. Christmas Day was also his 60th birthday. I sent him a card telling him how much I love him and how important he is in my life. I really wanted to spend christmas and his birthday with him this year and had planned it but with not having a job it is pretty much impossible. I talked to him on the phone for a bit last nite and he said "hey..with you not working and JC off for a couple weeks...why don't you guys fly down for a while and stay." I really wish we could.. but with him being off and me not having a job we just don't have the extra money for plane tickets. It kills me to not be with him on Christmas.

cold weather makes me creative

Yesterday it got up to 9 degrees where I live and let me tell you with the wind and clouds it fell ike -9 degrees. It was so freakin' cold it took your breath away. I don't ever remember it being that cold. That's why I don't live in Michigan, NY, Canada..etc. I HATE cold weather. Don't get me wrong I love to buy hats, scarfs, & gloves and dress up for winter..but I hate the cold weather. UGG. One day I will hopefully life where the tempature doesn't drop below like 40 or 50 and thats only at night time. :o)
So since today's high so far is 17 other than running by the bank and wal-mart JC and I have decided to stay in where its warm. I've been busy crafting and creating and JC has been playing poker online and just hanging out. It's been a really nice day..inside. I added some new things to my shop. I plan on really getting alot done and added by next weekend. Plus there are a few things I asked for for christmas that I really hope I get because if so I'll be in full work mode. I can't wait. I keep making things and then I like them for myself..haha so i have to make two. hehe I can't help it. I love my own work..what can I say.
I'm not sure if I ever posted here yet but Justin is officially laid off until January 22. He's getting parcial unemployment but the way that it work she won't actually get paid until right before he goes back to work..so technically he won't get paid for like 2 weeks straight.. My unemployment is up December 31. Then if I haven't found a job by then (which I probably won't because it seems noone is hiring around the holidays) I'll have to file for an extension. If I get approved for the extension that I'll get unemployment until March..If I get denied then I'm broke and will have to figure something out. I'll either have to find a part time job or something...just as long as it brings in a paycheck..then it doesn't really matter I guess.
Also, if you haven't already PLEASE either download or go out and purchase Taylor Swift's new CD Fearless and go out and buy Britney Spear's new CD Circus. I'm telling you This is Britney's BEST CD EVER. Every single song just makes you want to get up and dance...and if they don't...you have a problem. The songs are just so catchy and I just can't stop listening to it. Taylor's cd is of course amazing just like her first. It's sorta the same vibe as the first one...break ups, boys, love..etc. but they each tell a story and its so good especially knowing she wrote all of them. She is an amazing songwriter.

my dog Lacey saved the day. . .

so we have two dogs. Lacey who sleeps on the floor on a dog bed with blankets and Bella who sleeps in bed with us. Lacey has a "spinkter" problem. Her spinkter doesn't work right and when she is sleeping it relaxes and she pees. She's had this problem since being about 1 year old and we've just came to be used to it. She sleeps on a waterproof bed and I was the cover once a week. We came to manage it very well. When she was younger she would lay anywhere in the house to take a nap and then when she got up and walked away we didn't understand why our carpet was wet. She's a great dog who I rescued from the pound and something as little as her having a bladder problem isn't going to stop me from giving her a great home. Anyways shes a very smart dog and always makes sure I'm not forgetting something or doing something wrong. When I cook dinner (i'm getting better..but at first when we moved on our own I had no idea what i was doing) she sits by the back door so that If the place was to catch on fire she was able to escape and I'm sure she'd take me with her. I am extremely terrible about putting a pot of water & tea bags on the stove to make tea and then get busy doing something and totally forget. So when she starts to smell the tea she comes into the living room and makes noises so that I remember to turn it off.

At 7 am this morning she was on my side of the bed making her usual noises. They aren't barks or crys....I can't really explain what they are but anyways she was next to the bed making her noises which usually means she needs to go outside or she wants covered up. So I got up out of bed and walked towards the bedroom door and she jumped in her bed and looked up at me telling me she was cold and wanted covered up. As I was covering her up I realized the house seemed really cold. We usually keep the thermostat set at 68 to save energy and money but it seemed much colder than 68. I woke Justin up and told him that it felt cold and he got up and checked...it was 55 degrees in our house and our furnance wasn't working...GREAT. So as I'm laying in bed and can hear him twiddle around with the furnance trying to figure out what is wrong I'm laying in bed thinking...okay..let me get this straight.. I get laid off....JC then gets laid off, its 4 days before christmas...and now our effin' furnace quit working?? what the hell? who did I piss off? haha
We called around and finally got someone to come out about 8 am. Twenty minutes, a new part, & probably $100 and some dollars later...our furnace is back to warming up our house. He said he'd just bill us so I don't know how much that 20 minutes on a sunday cost us but I guess it was worth it to have a warm home.

Caylee Anthony found

Dear Caylee, I am so sorry that your mom didn't love you enough to protect you. I am so sorry that she felt jealous of you instead of proud. You are a beautiful little girl and I'm sure anyone who wants a little girl would love to have you as their daughter. I only hope that one day if I am to have a baby girl that she is as beautiful and wonderful as you. I hope your last minutes in this world were painless and you didn't feel anything. I pray for your mother, grandparents, & family members and hope that whoever did this to you is punished. I am so sorry. Goodbye little Caylee...now you really are an angel. You'll never know dear, how much I love you, please don't take my sunshine away. . .

It is awfully chilly outside today. . .

That was the sentence I was given at our 7th grade spell bowl tournament. Me being the cocky, so sure of myself, type of person. I set up straight in my seat and wrote down Chili. C-H-I-L-I. We had a teacher/parent sitting next to each person from each school and when told, they are to raise their hands if the child next to them is right. My person was the ONLY one who didn't raise their hand. I looked over in the bleachers at my team and they all had a very confused look on their face. haha I was wrong. I knew it was CHILLY, that is like the easiest word EVER...and I wrote CHILI. I will never know why I did that. haha Probably because it's one of those "its so easy that I just overlooked it" but maybe it was because it was cold in that gym and I was hungry and wanted chili. haha who knows. Its just one of those memories I'll never forget.

Speaking of not forgetting things...lately I've been forgetting things..A LOT. In the past 2-3 weeks I've left my cell phone EVERYWHERE. I never do that. I'm a very OCD person who makes sure I've got everything..and everything is in its exact place..etc. But I went out to eat with some friends at Garfield's a couple of weeks ago and as we started walking through the mall I realized I had left my cell phone on our table. Then last Friday when I was at Derrik's basketball game I left my phone on the bleachers... Thank goodness my aunt was there and grabbed it for me. What is wrong with me? Maybe its age..I mean I am 25. Maybe at 25 your memory starts going.. I don't know...But I've always been the type of person to where someone can come up and say "hey remember that one nite when we did this..." and I can think about it for a second...and I can give them the day of the week it was on or the shirt someone was wearing.. I have an extremely good memory. Or maybe I should say I HAD a good memory.
The picture above is of JC & Bella sleeping next to me while I was sitting on the couch on my laptop the other nite. Bella opened her eyes when she heard my digital camera turn on but it didn't really effect her any. It's like she's giving me the look "mom...put the camera away..I'm trying to sleep."

looking back at 2008. . .

so before I had a blog I had a livejournal. I've actually had a livejournal since like 7th grade. sometimes for fun I'll go look thru my livejournal and see where I was or what I was doing 3 or 4 years ago. It's actually sorta interesting. I've really changed alot and learned alot since then. Anyways so I couldn't remember if I had a resolution last year. Usually I come up with something but never do it...like lose weight, eat healthier..etc. haha But last year my resolution was the hardest resolution I had ever made . Technically I don't really know if it was considered a resolution or not.. it was kind of a challenge. My friend Katie Jo posted a challenge for herself and for her friends.

She wrote "My challenge for everyone this year. including me (in the words of a song I heard recently): "...stop, take some time to think, and figure out what's important to you..."
I did it. I completed my first New Years Resolution (Challenge). I am so proud of myself. I did this and more. EVERYDAY I realized what was important to me.

So this post is going to recap my life of 2008 and look forward to 2009.

January thru March Justin & I planned our wedding almost every nite. It was starting to be a ritual...go to work, come home, eat dinner, wedding planning...every day. I was starting to worry CRAP what will I do after the wedding is over? haha This is all i've done for 3 months...and will probably continue to do for 3 more months until the wedding. Also in March Justin had a men's softball tournament in Kentucky. So we drove down to Kentucky for Border Wars. It was really really COLD. I had alot of fun down there with all his friends who became my friends over the rest of the year....but I think it was the coldest weather I had ever set out in for hours... **Picture is of JC & I at our hotel during this trip.**

April and May I finished up pretty much all of the wedding plans. JC played alot of ball during these two months. Sometimes he'd play 2 or 3 times during the week for league ball and then he'd play tournaments on the weekend. It seemed like I was constantly at a ball diamond but I had so much fun. JC's guy friends became my guy friends and I felt like I was sorta part of the team even thought it was just a bunch of guys. I was kinda like their mascot or cheerleader haha. I had so much fun traveling all across indiana to watch them all play. April 29 was our 7 year dating anniversary. It was weird that it was the last time we could have a "dating" anniversary because next year we'd have a wedding anniversary. Just two days before our "dating"anniversary the wonderful Sam McGranahan of The Roxy Studio took our engagement pictures. It was so much fun. JC was kinda "not so sure" at first but he came around after a few minutes and I think he actually enjoyed it, even though he wouldn't admit it. **the picture to the right is one of my favorite engagement pictures**

June was a really busy month. Every weekend we had something going on. JC was either umpiring a softball tournament or playing in a softball tournament. He made alot of extra money to help put on the wedding but it was definately a hectic month. I also had my bachlorette party/bridal shower during June. Every June is super busy for us because it is the "peek" of umpiring season for JC and then of course he still plays softball.. so we always have alot going on...then on top of all that this year we had wedding planning too. **picture on left is us at Demo Derby in July**

July was here before you knew it which meant our wedding was just a few weeks away. I had everything pretty much done with by the beginning of July except for paying off all our wedding debts. Photographer, DJ, Reception site, hair stylist, etc. So JC continued to umpire every weekend so he could make extra money to put towards the wedding. On July 4th we went to the lake in Sullivan to watch the fireworks like we do every year and on July 18 we went to the demolition derby to watch some friends that derby every year at the Sullivan 4-H Fair. On July 26, 2008 Justin & I were finally married at 4:29 pm. It was the best nite of my life. The whole day was so fun. JC & I slept in until about 10am then we took a shower and I got my make-up on and he ran to the Dairy Queen and bought me a hot dog because I was so hungry. I headed over to the church about 11:30 and my bridesmaids were there getting there hair done by my hair stylist. I hung out there with them just laughing and telling stories and then getting my hair done. JC showed up so I talked to him and everything was just so casual and fun. No nerves or drama or anything. So we started getting dressed and took some pictures and at 4:29 pm our slideshow started of how we became and the wedding followed. We loaded up in our non-air conditioned limo..haha and drove on down to the reception...The rest of the nite was so much fun just hanging out with Justin and family and friends...But the nite may have been too much fun for my groom because he drank a little too much and I couldn't get him up for our flight to Florida..haha So we had to cancel and get another flight...So the last few days of July we spent in Orlando, Florida. It was so much fun. The best thing of the whole trip though was spending quality time with my new husband and watching his face when he saw all of the cool stuff in Florida. He had never been there so everything was so amazing to him. And I Loved that I got to share that with him. We were planning on trying to go back next year but with what happened in August we don't know if we will be able to. **picture at right is one of our wedding pictures** **picture at left is us at Gatorland in Orlando, Florida**

So August came as we came back to Indiana and I started work back. Three days before my wedding I was told by my manager that there may not be a job for me when I got back. After she saw how upset I was when she told me that she said "oh, don't worry...go have fun at your wedding and honeymoon." So four days after I got back from my honeymoon and the day before my 25th birthday I was called back to my managers office and she said "happy birthday, he's your gift card, now I have bad news. Today is your last day." I asked her why she was laying me off instead of a few other employees that had been there less than me and she said it was because I was married and had insurance thru my husband. The other two depended on insurance thru there. Even though I was more reliable and a better worker, I was let go. So the next day, which was 08.08.08 my 25th birthday, after I went to the unemployment office to file for unemployment, I went to the tattoo parlor and got two new tattoos. I had been wanting new tattoos for a while but wanted to wait until after the wedding.... I just needed something to make me feel good. I love the way getting a tattoo feels.. (not the pain of that tattoo but the feeling you get when you get one..i can't explain it but its awesome..so much adrenaline) The next day JC, Kris, Me, Q'ball, Ronnie (my cousin), & some more guys went to Avon, Indiana for Men's State Softball Tournament. We ate at a really good mexican restaraunt in Avon where they brought me an awesome brownie and ice cream out and sang Happy Birthday to me. It is definately one birthday I won't forget. Anyways, the rest of the month I started playing softball with Justin on his co-ed league team. I wasn't working so sitting at home thru the week was driving me crazy. So playing softball on the weekends actually gave me something to look forward to. I also found out when we got back from our honeymoon that one of my bridesmaids decided to get married.

September was a really fun month too. I played softball every weekend with JC and our friends and just really enjoyed the atmosphere of being around the diamond of everyone there. **picture on the right is of Justin & I at Robyn's wedding reception**

October I continued to play ball every weekend except for the weekend of October 11 which was when my friend Robyn and her fiance Ian got married. The wedding turned out beautiful especially for only planning it in 2 months. Everything went really well and I had alot of fun. JC only came for a few minutes because he had played flag football & softball that day. But my friend Q'ball(his name is Matt Agresta, but I've always known his has Q'ball) came and we had alot of fun. The next two weeks I played softball every saturday and hung up at the diamond. On October 25 it was our league tournament. JC & I showed up to the diamond around 8 am. We weren't scheduled to play until 10 but he likes to get there early and wanted to watch the 9am game. When we got there we found out the 9 am game was a forfeit so JC, Q'ball, & I went into the school gym and hung out for about an hour..just staying warm and talking. We played our game at 10am and then hung out there. We played 3 more games that day between 10 am at 4 pm. Q'ball had drank since our first game was over at like 11am and he was pretty drunk. He struck out twice in our last game and was pretty upset when he left. He got his stuff and walked out of the dug out and out to his car before most of us had even got into the dug out. I'll never forget that view of him walking off in his orange Agresta #88 Fast Track Apparel Beavers Softball shirt and his navy blue striped softball pants..with his bag over his shoulder. I told JC hey..q'ball is really upset... we tried to get our stuff and catch up with him but by the time we made it to the parking lot he was already in his car and down the road...On our drive home I texted him to make sure he'd be there the next day because we would play like 3 or 4 games on sunday including the championship game as long as we kept winning. He didn't text back he called back and I handed the phone to JC and he said he'd be there tomorrow and he was really upset about striking out twice. JC told him that it was probably just because he had drank a little too much and that he wasn't his athletic ability or anything...JC reassured him everything would be fine tomorrow and the last thing he said to him was "Be Careful." Three hours later Justin and I were sitting at a volleyball game and got a phone call saying "Your friend...Q'ball...he's dead." I will never forget the last 8 hours I spent with him that day. We talked about so much stuff....I will never forget my birthday dinner I had that year.. he was there...or the entire spring of 2008 that I was around him. Everytime I watch the eagles play I know he's watching too. And everytime the Cowboys lose I know he's laughing... And EVERY sunday during the football games I sit by our phone just hoping that it will ring and to hear his voice on the other end... He was an awesome man and I will forever be changed by knowing him.

So far November and December has been months of staying home where its warm and just spending time with my husband and my family. We decorated our house with christmas lights and decorations and have been making and buying gifts for our family. Times are hard this year, more than they have ever been in previous years. But we are trying our best to have a nice christmas.

Stay tuned...my next post is "Looking forward to 2009."  It will be posted on 12/20.

Our Christmas Cards for 2008

I ordered our Christmas cards tonight. I really wanted a cute picture with Me, JC, Bella, & Lacey but we never got around to getting a good one taken so I figured since we were newlyweds it was okay to send out cards with a wedding picture on it. JC said it doesn't look very "holidayish" but it'll have to do. What do you think? I ordered them on snapfish. It only cost me $9.99 for 20 of them and you can have them delivered to Walgreens so you don't have to pay shipping. I ordered them around 7 pm and I got am email at 9 pm telling me they are ready to be picked up. Damn! :o) This was my first time ordering thru Snapfish but I'm pretty happy with them so far...I'm going shopping with my grandma tomorrow to help her do her christmas shopping so I'll pick them up tomorrow. I can't wait to see them. I blurred our last names out because I wasn't really sure if I've ever posted it on here...I probably have...who knows...But just incase I haven't...
oh..and I just heard that they found child remains that they suspect are Caylee Anthonys. I pray that their not just because I have hope that she is still alive and that noone would kill their child. I would have taken Caylee. She is adorable and anyone who isn't able to have kids or whatever the case may be....anyone would love to take her i'm sure. :o) I just hope shes still alive somewhere....and I fear those are her remains...

Win a Copy of The Green Bride Guide

The owner of earthlyaffair.com is having a contest on her blog, Earth Friendly Weddings, for a copy of The Green Bride Guide. I am so jealous of this book. I had to search online for about 9 months coming up with all kinds of ideas and questions to ask and this book saves you so much time. Go to her blog and watch the 1 minute video she made where she's telling you about the book. If you or someone you know is getting married this book would be a really good book to have...especially if you are wanting to have an all green wedding. And who knows...even if your not...maybe if you read this book and realize how many things you can do to help the environment out on your day you say "i do"... you might just change your mind.

Indiana will run out of unemployment by March 2009

so I've been laid off since 8.7.08 and started receiving unemployment on 9.7.08. I've been looking for a job since about the time I've got laid off but there isn't much out there. I was hoping that by the time my unemployment runs out which should be in about a year...that hopefully by then I'd have a job. But I always knew I had a good 9-12 months to find a job. Well when I got home from christmas shopping today JC told me they said on the news that by March Indiana would be out of unemployment. This AWESOME news came two days after JC's job told him and the rest of their employees that after the new year they were taking "voluntary layoffs" and then if they didn't have enough people volunter then they would have to start laying off. So...if he gets laid off he won't even get unemployment because Indiana won't have any left. GREAT!
Let's just hope after the new year I get a phone call from the place I interviewed at they tell me I got the job! I have came to the conclusion that if I don't hear from there or any other place by the middle of January its time to apply EVERYWHERE.. Even if its not in my pay range...A little money is better than no money.
Please cross your fingers that A. JC doesn't get laid off B. I get a job & C. Indiana has enough unemployment left to get me thru. :o)

my flickr account is expiring. . .

well christmas gift making is in full swing.  I've got alot of stuff I've been drawing out and planning and I started on a few...I've also started on a little project for my shop....the picture is a sneak peek.

I'm not sure how its going to turn out but we'll see how it goes...I also started working on a adiqshun designs webpage.  my products will sell on etsy but I wanted a webpage where you could go and look at all my designs and request custom orders too.  I may lose interest in it..who knows...but I've got it designed and once I get more crafts done then I'm gonna fill it up and then actually open it up.
Oh...when I logged on to my flickr account today to upload some pictures, I found out that due to some contract woes with verizon, flickr would no longer be able to provide flickr pro for verizon customers. ERR!!  So if i want to continue to use flickr pro I have to pay $24.95 a year.  I have a domain that I can upload pictures to so its not like I "need" flickr.  But it is so handy for people to just go on and look thru my pictures..and they're all organized and handy when I need one.  Damn Verizon...what the hell?

Britney's back BITCH!

that's right people...i'm the proud owner of Britney's new CD.  I have been a fan of her since 1998 when "Baby One More Time" first hit air waves.  Ever since I have dreamed of the day that I will get to meet her.  Unfortunately, I have not been able to see her live.  I had tickets for her tour back when she hurt her knee and had to cancel.  I always told myself that no matter what if she ever came back on tour I'd do whatever it takes to make sure I'm there to see her.  Wouldn't ya know it that i'm unemployed and tickets go on sale 3 weeks before christmas.  There is NO WAY i'll be able to afford tickets this year.  I am crushed and upset beyond belief.  Britney is the only person I would ever leave my husband for. LOL I'm serious.  I'm in love with her and think she is an amazing person.  I cry everytime I see her perform or talk because I feel so sorry for her because I feel that she is so sad and lonely.  I wish that I could be there and be her friend and try and keep her happy.  There has been SO MANY TIMES that i've been sad or lonely or whatever..and all I have to do is have a "Britneyvention"...and everything is okay.  I'd either pop in Crossroads and watch it.. or start with her first cd...and just drive around and play thru ALL HER CD's....singing and even doing some dance moves as I'm driving down the road...yes I can multi-task..haha  Anyways everyone that knows me knows that I am completely obsessed with her (in a good way) and that no matter what I back her up.  In the past 10 years that she's been in the spotlight she's been thru alot of ups and downs..and no matter what I've never stopped being her fan.  There were sometimes that I was scared to death she wasn't going to make it thru...and still to this day I'm so afraid that those crazy papparazi people are going to cause a terrible accident and kill her. (princess di) Anyways...she is awesome, her music is awesome..and my life is awesome because of her.  So go check out her cd...because its awesome.

tomorrow is the big day. . .

well tomorrow is the big day.  I'm going to my first job interview since like 2003. haha  I'm really nervous.  I didn't think I was going to be but I could hardly sleep last nite, so I can't imagine what tonight will be like.  I don't really know why I'm nervous.  I know I'm a good worker and I'm a good talker so I know the actually interview will go well I'm just nervous about getting the job.  I want the job REALLY BAD even though I don't really know much about it... I just really want a job... I'm tired of feeling worthless. haha  Okay...well I don't really feel worthless, but I'm ready to make money. :o)

Today my friend Tabby & I went to Terre Haute to try and get some of her christmas done.  She had told me that she just wasn't really in the Christmas mood this year so I thought I might be able to help her do some of her shopping to kinda get her in the mood... She ended up buying a few things for herself BUT she did get a few things for some of her family members.  I had to buy some "interview" pants because I've worked at a doctors office for the past 4 years and we wore scrub pants and t'shirts to work EVERYDAY. It was awesome...it was like going to work in your pajamas...i miss that. :o(  Anyways, then for lunch we met Robyn on her lunch break and ate at Garfield's.  I'm really not that big a fan of Garfield's...I think it's kinda like the lower class of TGI Friday's, Ruby Tuesdays, & Applesbee's.  I think they are pretty much all the same but some are definately better than others.  The only thing I do like about Garfield's is their AWESOME sweet tea & that I get to draw on the tables.  That's my favorite part! :o)  I also dropped my wedding ring/band off at Kay Jewelers so that they could solder (isn't that a weird way to spell it?) them together and get them all nice and clean...they were starting to look pretty grungy from wearing them together...they were like rubbing spots on eachother.  So we didn't get alot of shopping done but we got to hang out and pick up a few things.  I bought a scarf, hat, & gloves from Aeropostale that was 50% off.  I have some already but they aren't "nice."  I wanted to have something that looked kinda "classy" or atleast "dressed up" to wear to my interview tomorrow.  and hopefully wear to my new job everyday. :o)
Oh...and I just ordered some fabric from spoonflower.  I found this image of trees a long time ago, I don't even remember where.  Anyways I always thought it would make AWESOME fabric.  So I uploaded it to spoonflower and kinda edited it a little bit to repeat on fabric and I ordered just an 8x8 piece for $6.00.  Once I get it I'm gonna make sure it looks good and if so I'm definately purchasing it to start making some purses, wallets, etc.  I'm so excited and can't wait to get it.

Get 2GB of FREE Backup at Mozy

So I was surfing around the internet the other day (which is what I do everyday because I don't have a job) and came across Mozy.  Usually when I come across sites like that I just scan thru it and believe that its too good to be true and just click off.  But it sorta "hit home" for me.  Last Summer I accidently unplugged my computer while it was on and didn't plug it back in until 15 days later.  When I finally plugged it back in and turned it on....I got some crazy screen that basically in so many "technical" words told me I was "fucked." hehe  Seriously though, my computer had crashed and I had lost everything... Well me being pretty smart into computers thought okay I'll just reinstall all the software that came with it and everything will be okay.... no... that didn't work.  Okay..so I'll just run it down to the local computer repair shop and he'll be able to get it back and running...well $247.00 later...and a new hardrive my computer was back up and running.. BUT I lost all my pictures, fonts, psp brushes, documents, images....EVERYTHING.  Everything I had collected over the past 4 years was gone...I was morified...
It's been over a year now since I lost all my stuff and I never have been able to find all my fonts and brushes and of course I can not replace the pictures ever.... So when I came across this site I knew that it was something I really should invest in.  Right now of course with me having no job (please help me find one), there is no way that if my computer crashed that I could afford another $247.00 to repair my computer and purchase a new hard drive.  So if you guys don't do anything that I ever ask you...atleast please check out Mozy.  All I'm asking is that you check it out...no strings attached.

looking for girl who I met at the Terre Haute, Indiana Wal-Mart on Black Friday at 4 am who purchased a Cricut

So i've been wanting a Cricut for a while now. But I just could never talk my husband into paying (or letting me pay) $300 for something. Even though I knew I would get SO MUCH use out of it and would use it forever...anytime I mentioned purchasing it he gave me that "you can't spend $300 on a "crafting" machine that you'll use EVERYDAY, but I can spend $300 on a softball bat that I use March-September." So when I found out that Wal-Mart was going to be selling the Cricut Expression for $199 the day after Thanksgiving I knew this was the perfect opportunity to get it. So I woke up at 3:30 am on "Black Friday" and rode with my aunt to the south Wal-Mart in Terre Haute and stood next to the big box that was covered up that had Cricut Expressions inside. While my aunt was walking around the store looking around for a few things a girl pulled up with a cart and a mission. You could tell by the look in her eye, she too was going to get a Cricut today. So we started talking about crafting and Cricuting and such...and I never got her name or email address. She stood next to me and my aunt until 5am where of course if you've ever been in a Wal-Mart on Black Friday when the sales start you know why I forgot to get her information. It was a mad house in there. After she got her Cricut she was off to see if she could get the Kitchenaid mixer that was on sale for $130...
I do know she reads blogs because she said that's how she found out about the Cricut being on sale that day because she had read it on a blog. I was so nervous and excited at the same time that I forgot to give her my blog URL or get any information from her. But it's very rare that I find anyone around my area that likes the same things I do. My friends don't understand crafting and homemade and that kind of stuff. So, I would have loved to get her information so that maybe we can "trade" Cricut cartridges or become "blog friends." hehe So I have a favor for everyone who reads this post. PLEASE PLEASE somehow pass this on and help me find this girl. Maybe you could just put a little note in one of your posts saying check out this site she is looking for the girl she met at the Wal-Mart in Terre Haute, Indiana on Black Friday at 4 am by the Cricut Expression machines. Anything you can do to help is much appreciated. Also, if she does contact me and it's you that helped me find her I'll be sure to send you a special gift and give you props on my blog...
