so i was trying to hold off to post on here again until I got our engagements pictures back...but they're not back yet so i guess i'll post without any pictures.
life is completely awesome right now. i am so happy where i'm at. i think i can honestly say that i've never been happier..EVER in my entire life. everyday is so awesome...no matter what i'm doing i'm happy and in love. (expect for when i'm at work...that blows. hehe) anyways...the only bit of stress i have is the whole planning a wedding thing..but really compared to the stories i've heard from my friends who are already married...at their 3 month point they were stressing out about stuff...i'm good. yes there are a few things i'm like oh my gosh that's so expensive or oh my gosh i don't have the money for that..but whatever....if it works out okay....if not who cares....i'm getting married to the love of my life i don't give a rats ass if we dont' have enought food for everyone...or if i didn't order enough wedding favors or whatever....i'll be happy just to be there with him and be getting married to him. that's the most important part....
hopefullly the next time i post i'll have some engagement pictures to show you. my photographer said they should be online in about a week. i'm so excited to see them!

so this past weekend JC had a softball tournament in vincennes all day saturday. we didn't get home until around 1 am and finally went to bed around 1:30am. we then had to get up early sunday morning at 5:30 am and head to brownsburg, indiana so that JC could got to an 8 hour umpire school. I obviously wasn't going to sit in the car all day long so I took the car and drove down to plainfield and went shopping there until about noon then i drove on to downtown indy and went shopping at circle centre mall. i got this awesome coach purse for $298. i saw it online a few weeks ago and fell in love with it but never actually planned on getting it. i actually went to the mall to buy the new dooney and bourke fabric heart purse. but stopped at the coach store first....i also bought this adorable earth keyring for $38 at the coach store too. i am so all about "going green" and such and i thought this keychain is like so perfect. :o) I also bought my four bridesmaid's a gift at the coach store....i know that is like a very expensive place to purchase a bridesmaid gift but the way i see it...i mean they spent money on a dress and shoes and they gotta get their hair done and stuff so they deserve a good gift. i'm not going to post on here what it is just incase any of my bridesmaids see this i don't want to give away the suprise. anyways..so i did some major shopping this weekend but i feel like it was well deserved. i know i probably be spending my extra cash on my wedding but i just couldn't resist spending some money on ME! I've already spent probably like around $1200 or $1500 on the wedding...so i thought i deserved to spoil myself a little bit.
so this weekend we are finally getting our engagment pictures taken. i'm so excited. other than our prom pictures jc and i have never had "professional" pictures taken together. so i am so excited for those. i can't wait to print them out and hang them up all around the house and make lots of images for my myspace and webpage and stuff. i always use pics of me and jc for stuff like that and to hang all around the house but they're just the candid pics i take of us. hehe they're pretty good...but these will be awesome. i can't wait!! Our photographer is Samantha McGranahan with The Roxy Studio. She's doing our engaement pictures and our wedding pictures. She is an awesome photographer from what i've seen of her work and i'm so excited to have her as our photographer. I hope she stays around here because I have every intention to having her take my pictures for when i'm pregnant and when we have a baby and a family....for her doing all our portraits and such. It's so crazy thinking about the future like that. I mean JC and i have been together 7 years this coming tuesday, and we've always discussed "our future" but it always seemed so far away...and now that the future is finally becoming the present it's so satisfying. i love justin so much and i can't wait for eachday i'm alive to be with him and enjoy every minute of it.

so i've been busy this weekend doing some major "spring cleaning" the entire house should be finished up by the end of today and then i'll just have to wait until it warms up to do the outside. i plan on doing some major cleaning outside. i'm gonna wash down the entire house and move our outdoor furniture to the front porch... then i think i'm going to take out our old landscaping that we have around our front porch (it's been there since we moved in) and add some flowers and maybe some trees or something...and some sort of different landscaping stuff. i'd also love to rip up my old yucky weedy yard and put down some sod. i need to look around and see if there is somewhere in terre haute that i can buy some sod...hmm..
so i've been doing some major cleaning and organizing..since we moved in here 3 years ago...i always used the big closet in our master bedroom for just me and justin used the little small closet in our extra bedroom...so this weekend i went thru my closet and dresser and if i hadn't worn it in the past year.....out it goes. so jc and i combined our closets into one...and then we'll use the small one for storage. i can't believe i had so many clothes...and most of them i don't even wear. i really want to have a yard sale this summer like usual because i can make so much money...BUT my small bedroom is packed full of all the clothes and stuff i'm getting rid of and i'm almost to the point to where i just want to take it and drop it off at goodwill. i'm just sorta at the point to where i just want to get rid of it.


so the wedding planning is going good. i just ordered some of the wedding favors we'll be giving out at the reception. i decided to do can koozies and poker chip magnets. the koozies are ordered and will be in in a few weeks...i need to get the poker chip magnets ordered...i'll probably do that next pay. let's see...i have to keep paying on pictures.... they are a total of $1200, i paid $300 deposit so that's $900 left to owe. i know my mom sent out a $100 check back in i think february..but she said she'd send out $100 every month. and it's april and i don't know if she sent out $100 for march and april...if so then our balance is $600 but she probably didn't send any because she never mentioned it to me. anyways...so my dress and everything is paid for. all i'll have to do is pay for alterations if it needs any...hopefully not. then justin is paying for our dj. it's $555 i think and we had to pay a $150 balance so only like $400 more on that and he said he'd pay for that and the $200 for the use of the church. wow...i never realized how expensive weddings were until now. anyways...and it's gonna cost up about $1000 for the reception hall and all the food and drinks....and i'm hoping my dad will pay for that. i haven't really talked to him about that yet... 104 days to go

i found this picture last nite while searching thru some kurt halsey artwork. it reminds me so much of jc. hehe it sounds like something he would say. haha i absolutely LOVE kurt halsey. i don't really know what it is about his artwork but it just sucks me in. i could look thru his artwork for hours and not get bored. i could look at the same piece of art for hours and think about so many things that it reminds me of. i guess maybe because i can relate to alot of the captions on some of his artwork. i don't really have alot of his work yet. i've only been a fan for about 3 or 4 months now. i used to see alot of his images used in icons on livejournal but never knew what it was until finally one day i was like okay..i've seen this really cute images for months and i want to know where the hell they come from...and i finally found out.

anyways...so i bought a kurt halsey cloud bank from urban outfitters and i also bought a canvas reprint of a picture. then today i just ordered a limited edition artwork he did. there was only 100 to order and I was lucky enough to get mine ordered. he also has that cute bag that i posted a pic of a few posts ago but i really didn't have the $35 to spend on it...ha so today i spent $30 on that art piece. i know i really didn't have the money for it...but it was limited edition and i really wanted it. it's so cute. i'm trying to do our bathroom in kurt halsey and i thought it would be perfect in there. i can't wait til i get it. but unless the piece "always member" is available for me to buy i'm done buying anything else until after i get the wedding paid for. that has to be my first priority right now. i was doing SO GOOD saving up every extra penny I had. until just recently i started really getting in the shopping mood. i think it's the warm weather. i've been buying flip-flops and new jeans and new shirts. hehe so i really need to just stop. here is the picture of the art i bought today..it's so adorable. i absolutely love it. it will look so good after i get it framed and hung up on the bathroom wall. i can't wait to expand my kurt halsey collection..

so everything this week has been going good. my boss and his wife (who is also sorta my boss i guess) have been out of town all week on vacation...which still means we are extremely busy (i work at a doctors office, people are always sick) anyways..still busy but just knowing that they aren't there is so relaxing. hehe i'm really glad tomorrow is friday even if that means that monday they're back..but i'm glad the weekend is here. jc has a softball tournament this weekend and i plan on doing some spring cleaning this weekend. i really need to have a yard sale...i have soo much stuff i need to get cleaned up outta my house. it would make so much more room. i definately have to get rid of it before the wedding..after getting money or gifts or whatever..there is some things we wanna get that we've wanted or needed for a long time but just never did...or really didn't have the room for it. so it's time to get rid of all the stuff we dont' need or use and bring in the new.

i decided to post this pic of my ring. until now i always looked on kays jewelers webpage and they never had a picture of it. and i always tried to take a picture of it but it never showed up very good. i absolutely love this ring. i remember opening my gift bag for christmas that year. i looked down in it and could see a big stuff boyds bear...and as i was pulling him out i saw him holding a ring box in his right paw. it was opened and could see this ring in it. i was so shocked and so happy. it's white gold, 1 1/2 carats. definately the best thing JC has ever picked out for me. hehe he's usually so cheap about EVERYTHING. haha but he did an awesome job picking this out. i think it looks so classy. i love it. the next christmas he bought me my green ipod. hehe i love it too...but not near as much as i love my ring...and of course my boyds bear.. he was white, wearing a navy blue sweater and on the sweater in red it said "Will You Marry Me?" obviously....i said yes. hehe
